In Search of Jarrah Handle

So I have been seeing some videos of detecting in Oz and I like the look of these Jarrah handles. Who makes them and can I get one even though I live in the U.S.A.? I would assume Jarrah is a type of wood. If I am correct, is it a very hard, dense wood? I would very much like to talk to the bloke who makes this. I would like to get one. It would be really great if someone down under can help me get a Walco pick as well. It appears the walco pick company doesnt want to ship to the states.

Hi Goldseeker, yes Jarrah is a hardwood & one of the finest furniture woods with a beautiful orange/brown colour when oiled.

Why would a wood handle pose a problem with customs? I have never shipped anything or recieved anything from over seas.

Borers mate. Little insects that other countries don't want. Can be fumigated on entry I believe.
