I have started a new detecting site

I have started a new detecting site, and looks like an interesting dig a comming up
went for a quick swing
like a scout swing but I dug this one up, interesting and
I wonder if it is say like an old light switch? I think the handle
might be Bakelite, it was 90deg just its bent in a bit over time.

Looks like an old beer keg handle....but could just be the time of afternoon that has me thinking that.

Handle looks ceramic to me.

Today I had another detect on this new ground
dont know what the glass top is for?
It is thick glass but no connectors on the bottom.
O and 1 silver today.

That looks like the lens from an old fashioned "cats eye" to me, there would be two of them facing toward the driver, rather than the reflective plastic we have in the modern ones. (sometimes its usefull to be old! )

I got a measurement on the glass thing,
Where I am detecting atm is a friends property
next door to the old pub, all hard packed down ground.
The taper on the glass thing, Im thinking old bottle cork, cap or top.
But the silver was early Victoria bun head sixer 1840s,
I can see that "I think" this will be a good site so I record all I find.
I do like the little truck and I am getting a collection of these cars, trucks and such,
I think I have found the old well and that is what the owner wanted me to find,
but detecting signals every where,
I take the big bar today for the excavation process.

The coin looks like an early Queen Victoria coin maybe 1850 -60
