Manged to get a bit of time in the dungeon the other day and gave the crusher a bit of a hurry up. Cut out and attached the material feeder tube and made a final choice in the outlet side. I opted to work on the side panel for the material outlet only because I felt that given the steel thicknesses Im using by incorporating it into the main drum may have weakened its integrity. At this point in the project I dont want to take any silly chances that can be potentially very painfull to the operators.
Ive put together a temp brace to the unit, this way I can walk around it watching it carefully during the test run. So far the thing runs solid. Ive got no shift or slide from the pulleys and the drum/chain are holding up really well.
I couldnt help myself and dropped a fewrocks into it.......nice
Hopefully this weekend for the real test...![Cool  ](data:image/gif;base64,R0lGODlhAQABAIAAAAAAAP///yH5BAEAAAAALAAAAAABAAEAAAIBRAA7)
Thats the result of the first pass. Gotta be happy with that.
