Bugger, I must be a tad rough on my GMZ. I was shooting for coins in a playground this morning, not really zoned in, when everything suddenly felt different. Why is my DD laying on the turf?, why am I pointing at the wood chips with a blunt stick?
The nylon bolt that holds the coil to the lower rod has sheared off at the wing nut. - Bugger, and I just know that there is at least another $5 out there hiding......
Also discovered a small split in the lower rod has grown and now runs 6 inches long through the spring loaded ball-bearings.
Thank heavens for online shopping, replacement parts on the way........Note to self...I must not use the coil as a hammer.....
