ground balancing question

I have a gpx5000 and usually have it set to fixed rather than tracking

when ground balancing by raising and lowering the coil to the ground in fixed are you meant to press the button on the handle at the same time?

Hi BonZa, yes that's how you should do it, when you have pumped the coil a few times rest it on or just above the ground for a few seconds before releasing the button :Y:

In tracking mode though, just press the button once (you'll hear a beep), then release and go pumping the coil as PP said above.

I would love to hear the correct way! Some pump a few times then hold just above the ground and then trigger when steady! Is this this the true way with th em. Lost in space! Lol

thanx for the info. the video explains things real good

when in "fixed" and pressing the button there is no beep. I'm guessing thats normal?

because of that I was wondering if indeed the button does anything
