Hi all, I use to have the Northern Territory in google earth with all of the old and new mine info on my computer, and somehow it got deleted, is there any members who are tech savvy enough to help please.
Happy to pay.
Thanks in advance
Jim

sometimes if you reset your computer back to a point before you lost it it might come back (it has sometimes worked for me)
BUT you will loose everything the you have put on after that date
NOT a guarantee fix
someone on here may know a better way and if they do i will be watching with interest ]:D ]:D ]:D

Sounds like the MyPlaces.kml file may have been deleted/corrupted with its contents.

I have a .kmz file of Victorian Mines that shows in my "Places" sidebar where it can be turned on or off in the checkbox (mine does).

I did a search in the "Help" area of Google Earth for "places lost" and it returned a lot of links.

This one looks promising...

There is a link to a 'discussion' on how to recover/fix the myplaces.kml file step-by-step.

If you do locate the backup kml or kmz files - BEFORE you do anything else make backup copies to a thumb drive BEFORE attempting any Mr Fixit activity.
