First trip

Hi just wanted to share my finds from my first trip out detecting in Ballarat using a hired SDC2300. This was from day 1 of 4 days spent looking. The quartz rock was found at Maldon and gave off a great signal too. Opened it up when I got home and found, rust lol.

I recently decided to bite the bullet and by my own detector.

My next trip is in March for two weeks in Victoria and will take some more pictures of my finds to share.

It would be nice to have that sort of cash to jump straight in at the deep end!!!
Hey the little cap thing on top of the screen, take it off & spin it 180 deg it is to provide a little shade for the screen I believe, may make it easier to read screen.

Thanks guys, rc, I bought it secondhand for a great price, a real great price. I thought the cap looked funny on that way.
