Consider this - The effects of Electro Magnetic Interference, EMI, can be reduced in the better detectors i.e. GPX by adjusting Rx down among other settings, but the cost is to reduce the sensitivity and depth capability of the detector. Also the only place a filter can generally be included is in the audio circuit i.e. between the detector and an external speaker/phones. This has no effect on the detector electronics, it will still pick up any EMI present.

It's your money to waste :)

In my previous life before retirement, I was very involved with EMI shielding of sensitive electronics by enclosing them in EMI shielded containers, not with filters.
The problem here is that a coil can't be physically shielded or it won't work and that is where the EMI is picked up.
