Detecting in Water (Rivers)

As I will be soon the owner of an Infinium I have been wondering about detecting in running water creeks and rivers? Is this a good idea? Do many others do it? Is it a likely place to come across nuggets?

Any comments appreciated.

Target recovery is the funnest part of in water detecting.... said no one ever!

Creeks with exposed bedrock arent too bad, creeks with cobbles/gravel are a pain in the butt because you dig lots of deep rubbish generally.
