Last week I decided to cut a track into Icey creek half a K Of black berries greeted me but Iwas up to the task converted my wiper snipper to take mower blades . Leeches were bad picked up eight very friendly no time to prospect going back new year
 
Sounds like a bit of hard yakka there JohnB, especially with the leeches.

Look forward to hearing how you go when you get to prospect.
 
I dont like leaving tracks ...ppl will follow them .
Nothing worst then cutting one to find someone digging there before you...

Sounds like you have some digging to do!
 
Sounds like he has done some digging and has given up in disgust :/
 
Places with heaps of overburden and jungle are usually left alone by most people as there is to much work involved. If you put in the hard yards you may get good returns.
I have a 52cc brush cutter with a circular saw which is great for cutting tracks.
