Couple of tiddlers

I got out for a few hrs again today
I've been to this area 3 times for no gold
But today was the day
I don't give up on a new field
Eventually it gives up a bit
Wasn't a real likely looking spot though
I felt like I was diggin up a public oval or lawn bowls green :lol:

After bout half hr and 10 targets out all rubbish
Out came the first little but 0.30

Then I dug heaps of rubbish
And walked about 100 mtrs away and first target was another 0.75

So I was happy with that and the gold looks different in colour than my normal haunts

It wasn't deep either
Came home with a little rattle in my jar
Great weather first gold for that area

The spot really didn't look the goods
But they were there
Just couldn't find that third bit
Might have to take the gmt next time
As the power lines weren't far away
And we're creating heaps of emi

Mick there was plenty of rubbish there
Wal you can bring your detector But you'll have to put it in the golf club bag like I do
So they don't catch on that were digging up the golf coarse
And well have to walk round all day drinking beer so we blend in :lol:

But I hope you like swinging under power lines :lol:
Mystyk the grass is nice
But it's well maintained buffalo
It's thick as and you got to rip at it hard to get anywhere :lol:

G'day Lbg, I use a GMT and I'm fairly impressed with it. I found some very small pieces with it to a depth of only about 2-3 inches. I am interested to see how you go with yours at the new site. Good luck! cheers, Rick.
