There are alternatives, I was warned off cortisone.
Have had "tennis elbow" probably more them 10 years from breaking boulders for 30 + years, finally saw specialist. Top bloke.
Specialist suggested a "Blood Patch".
Quite an experience yesterday, Doc took blood from left arm, anaesthetised problem right elbow. wasn't that bad really.
A bit sore to move now, I see it as insurance to be able to get extended use out of it longterm.
The Doc drops the bomb shell,"don't use it for 2 weeks":/
If I wasn't self employed I might have been more excited.
It's supposed to heal the problem area in 3 to 4 weeks rather than 6 months.
I'll let you know how it goes.
Maybe others have had this done, maybe they can contribute.
You only get on body, so look after it properly.
