Composting

Eh up everyone,just hoping for some advice please.i am a vegan so I've been composting for years.anyway I grow all my own veggies.we are renting at the moment so started composting maybe 4 months ago just so I could fill up a few raised garden beds and plant some seeds.i only chuck grass cuttings,leaves,newspaper,coffee grounds,egg shells,weeds,cardboard and fruit and veg waste in it.no dairy or meat.i've got one of them spinning composers.went out today to chuck some potato peels in it and as can be seen from the pics below,got these things hanging out the small round vent holes in the bottom of the composter.i know there not worms and I didn't touch them as I know everything's deadly over here ,anybody know what they are please?are they maggots?and is it normal?sorry for been stupid but just never seen them before.

No mate I don't eat eggs but I do compost the egg shells
