Moneybox
Philip & Sandra Box
Christmas is a very low-key and muted affair for us these days... years in fact, lol, and this year was no exception. But Santa did visit this year in Cue. Not much snow here, matey.
Anyway, here was this box just sitting there looking for all love and money as though it wanted to be opened. NEEDED to be opened, in fact. Who was I to say no, hmmmm?
Naturally, Taz who loves gifts, delicious food (well, any food really) and sparkly things couldn't resist a play with the white stuff. No, it's NOT snow, silly little devil.
He'd recently suffered through a spin in the washing machine and an undignified hang on the line so I guess it was ok to let out some frustration. Got his fur all ruffled, it seems. No-one can argue he didn't look pretty good all spruced up, though. :inlove:
Meanwhile, the box was revealing its treasure. Another box. Hmmmm. At the mention of the word 'fossil' we all got a bit excited. Had Santa come through?
And so it was to be the case... inside the box inside a box was a beautiful, glossy dragon egg geode. I've always wanted one and this is simply stunning. It weighs 1.4kg. Lots of ooohs and aaahs ensued and I fairly swooned with delight. Thankyou so much, I   it.
Not to be outdone Phil ended up with a few goodies as well. One of them is a sign that he reckons was meant for me.... but it had HIS name on it I quickly pointed out.... so it must mean something. Mustn't it?! That cheeky grin makes him look like one of Santa's elves, I reckon.
Anyway, it's going up on the wall to remind us BOTH of our fly-by-the-seat-of-our-pants lifestyle, hehehe. All good and adventurous and who knows what's going to happen next? That's us.... even we don't know most of the time.
Hope you all had a great Christmas and we wish you a great 2020. The new year is in full swing already. We're building a cover for the plants today as it is a bit cooler than yesterday's high 40s. Everything up here needs a bit of help to stay cool. Cheers. xxxx
