Broke my Nut and Tail !!!!!!!!!!

Second time using my Highbanker today , and I broke my nut and tail whilst moving pump , it broke off the suction hose and put an end to my plans . Put two buckets through it first and there was gold in the cons . Another 30 buckets and I would have had lots more

I reckon the suction hose is way to heavy , is there a lighter alternative ?

I will get metal nuts and tails for both hoses . Wheres the cheapest ?
I know some of you guys prefer cam locks , but I dont mind screwing the nut on

So , BEWARE of the cheap Chinese nut and tails you get with your ebay pump , they are thin and snap easily

I use this from bunnings ( a couple of 1m lengths) with a camlock on the pump inlet, beauty of this is you need extra length the sections just clip together.

Yep,
I use aluminum Male and Female Cam locks.
Might be a little expensive but not as bad as loosing a whole weekend 200 Klm's away from home.

I also use aluminium cam locks. They are not that expensive and you can get them on line. Pool hose for suction hose should not be that heavy. Also you don't need it any more than 2 meters long.
