Attaching files to messages

Hi all, was just sending pm to wishful and wanted to attach a kmz file the same as a link to a video, but i was unable to paste it. so i thought i would try to send an email within this site and that wouldn't let me either. Can anyone explain how i can send this to him.

Mate I don't think you can send .kmz files through the forum, I could be wrong but I think you'll need to swap private email addresses and use Outlook Express or Thunderbird or something like them to send them to him instead of trying to do it through the forum email.

if the forum wont let you send a kmz file then zip it up first

just had a look and don't think you can add any attachment to an email only a PM

I don't think the forum will send .zip files either, all for security reasons I'd say regarding viruses. You can try if you like but best to just send files directly to each other.

Swap Email addys or the other option is to upload the files to the forum so every member has access.
