I have cut my cable & need to fix it. Can I join the wires with a plug & can it suit other Hphones? Make a adaptor How What with Who can ? Any help would be much appreciated Cheers Dave.
He's a top bloke and a highly-skilled repair technician and from my personal experience, works wonders with headphone leads and coil cables. He'll help if he can with other metal detecting gear electrical problems too.
If your AT Pro is never going to see any sort of water detecting, Garrett sell a headphones adapter to enable any sort of headphones to be fitted. Good option if you want to upgrade to some more comfortable/better quality headphones, as the Garrett ones aren't the best. Other than that, Grubstake's suggestion is a good one.
