A complete Bronze Age wheel believed to be the largest and earliest of its kind found in the UK has been unearthed.

You really have to have a good imagination when digging artifacts. Even in our digs here, even though nothing is much older than a couple hundred years, recognising what you've found is not easy. A couple of weeks back we brought home a adze an axe and the screw from a mincer that were all several inches underground and look like they'll be in quite good condition when cleaned up. They've just added a bit more to Mrs M's rusty pile
