3700 ct topaz and other gems stolen

Help Support Prospecting Australia:
Bugger.....I guess its not something that someone can run down to cash converters for a quick sale.
A unique stone like that would be easily recognized by all the gem dealers in FNQ.
The private collector will be keeping an eye out on ebay etc.
Lets hope it was just a bum ice addict who will make a mistake offloading it, and it wasnt stolen by a specialist with intricate gem knowledge and dealings.
Hope he gets it back soon!

Pretty dumb thing to do really, especially as mt surprise is a very well known place up here and renowned for their topaz specimens.
Hope a few of the locals catch up with whoever nicked it and dish out some justice queenslander style.
Sadly though its probably been taken interstate by now.
