Can anyone tell us an approx. value of this coin we dug up.
Its an 1835 English Shilling
Gulielmus 1111 DG Britanniar: Rex FD = the Head

Its in excellent condition

Only way to know its true value is to get it appraised, any micro scratches might have it as V or VF, depending on if it was cleaned, and how it was cleaned.

Hi Guys, thanks for your prompt replies. We found the coin in Creswick Forest Vic.
I will take a pic of the coin and upload it, but can't now { as its a pain } ,
we are on the road in Victoria, trying our hand in Dunolly for gold.
Our first Vic experience.
