I'm not sure if they even bothered with the gold spray paint.

Parts 1, 2 and 3 .. of the series ... judging by the trees seen in the footage it looks to be somewhere in Europe.

looks suspicious at the 40 second mark in part 3 .... note after his washing, there is a small cavity that is devoid of dirt .. highly unlikely that that he managed to wash out such a fine cavity with a simple wet wash over.

But if its real ... good luck to him.

I finished up to end of Part 3, it is huge for sure. If I'd spray paint some of these rocks, you would not be able to see the difference from the one in the video.

The site is in the middle of a desert region where Hollywood film makers have shot quite a few movie scenes over the years.

There once was an ancient sea and apparently a volcanic eruption of magnetic black iron magma, exploded in the water giving us these type of reddish iron oxide coated with black inside.

I've seen some with one side flattened and about a 1/4" thick layer of sea sand on the flat edge, even a few small seashells embedded.

A magnet will be attracted to even coin sized rocks of this type.
