Depth Of GPX Dependant On Soil Conditions?

Yes I have also found damp soil can improve depth and sensitivity but also if its too damp/wet will create a lot of false signals and effectively reduce depth.

    GPX4500 Trade In?

    GPX4500 Trade In?

Thats not a bad deal, Ill check with the dealers on a trade in deal first, if its not worth it Ill sell privately and then add the extra to purchase the sdc ... I would like to just buy the sdc and keep the 45 but The missus wouldnt let me live long enough to use the 2300 once she found out hahaha

    GPX4500 Trade In?

So Ive been thinking about trading in the gpx4500 and going for an sdc2300. The 4500 is a great machine but I just love the idea of the sdc being so compact and water proof. Just wondering what sort of trade in value the 4500 would have and if its really worth doing. What are your thoughts? Cheers

Status of Creek reports at Tuena

I was there last week end, the creek is very dry, no water flowing at all and is basically a few puddles in the deepest sections only, the good news is you can still pan and some great spots are accessible while the water is low :playful:

    Coiltek 9" Elite coil information

Sensitivity issues? I took mine for a walk on the weekend , I found it to be very sensitive.... maybe a little too sensitive, even in enhance mode she was giving clean signals on small hot rocks, and small bits of wire or boot tacks absolutely screamed. Maybe some adjustments on the settings to...

Status of Creek reports at Tuena

Cheers mate, the creek was low with very little flow. Did I little panning and managed to find a small .44g nugget in a boiler hole in the bedrock but very little from the rest of the weekend. Detecting turned up the usual lead and wire but no nuggets :( The gold in the creek seems to have...

    Diesel Chip Modification

My advice would be first understand what it is your doing to your engine and how it works then make an informed decision on your calculated risk. It also helps to know a little about your engine if your out away from town and some thing does go wrong because lets face it you never break down in...
