I have seen one of these many many years ago and did my head in than trying to work out what its for, almost like its an aid for tying off something as the plunger pulls out to expose that hole near the flange. so cant wait to find out what it is for :goldnugget:

yes it is a nice coin, and definitely :Y: a double dot its just faint if i find a new coin holder ill pull it out and take a better pic "i just double checked with a loop"

got this nice 1920 penny, not only is it a double dot but a clipped top edge. i do have a few more other pre-decmils when i find the folder ill post up some more pics of others.
