I've been there a few times and haven't found anything like that with my ace 250 but I've had a few tips on setting it up better have to give it another go soon
G'day skysie I have just started out detecting and have an ace 250 I am finding it to be a good machine. It's easy to use and you can get a lot of tips and tricks here and on the net to set it up for different situations. I think you wouldn't be disappointed with the garret
yeah good mate its very user friendly and really sensitive , it picks up some really small objects it's just to bad it''s been mostly junk so far but thats ok I'm atleast finding things

Had another go this morning and found a cheap pendent at redhead. Headed to blacksmiths and found my first 1 cent coin and my first gold coin not too bad for my second go. I'll post some photos when I get a chance
