Well I'm off tomoz to tackle the Kokoda trail going with a mate who has prosthetic leg I think it will be a mentally and challenging experience for all. Not enough room for a detector though dam! Has anyone else done this trec ? Cheers Grant

Hi Gunnadoo It's down Fred wicks track off Mia Mia road when you come to the fork in the track go right to Chinese diggings and left takes you down to the creek good spot. Cheers

Hi GB Plenty of spots to camp along the creeks or you can camp next to bullumwaal hall with toilet and creek right behind and there is a good spot down the end of Fred wicks track off Mia Mia road Cheers Grant

Tomorrow I'm off to melbourne to tackle (run ,walk,crawl)28 floors in full structural gear with using BA (breathing apparatus ) at the crown metro to raise money for the peter maccallum cancer foundation.goin tomoz the climbs on Sat morning.Ive been a firey (volunteer )for about seven years now...

Thanks for the feedback guys .think I will stick with a manual. Going for a triton gls which has diff lock and anti roll back which should be good with the steep hills around east Gippsland . Thxs Grant
