spud im new to the game too and thy are right time is the key. the way I practiced was get so gold of some sort and practiced trying to keep in the pan im still not great but I can get most of the stuff out apart from the black sand

I've been looking around gippy for gold as I'm from pakenham But only found a few specks of flour gold. If anyone would like to meet up and give me a hand which be great ..

Well I've done some research and found that big river Is out of the question but the creeks and streams seem to be ok I've look at the exempt list and there not on it plus when you look at parks vic it says there that you can still pan for gold ????

has anybody panned or sluiced any of the creeks around big river or woods point if so how did you go ????
