Hey All
For all those AT PRO Users that use headphones
Are you sick of getting the cables wrapped around
Things,tree branches,your arm?
Headphones nearly ripped off your head
Bending down etc...
Try this!! It works a treat??
Our AT is now full wireless Blutooth
No more cables :D
EM

second that, perhaps it may work on my atx :)

how much delay do you get?

is this it?

Good looking setup, also keen on looking at the headphones. I wonder who will be the first manufacturer to come up with a blue tooth pinpointer as well, for quiet night operation (other than using vibration mode).

Hi All
The headphones are very basic headphones
I bought on EBay for $18 and the transmitter
Was the same price
10 other people have also set theirs up
With complete success, thought I might
There is no delay what so ever and the
Clarity is the same as standard garrett
Setup with the benefit of cord free wireless
Blutooth technology
Make sure you order the transmitter
And headphones with the longest charge
Rate as some units have a very low
Rate say, 2 hours run time
Others say, 10 hours
So read before you buy!
Also I might add
You can Blutooth any detector
That has a headphone jack
Including a CTX3030

One more thing!
It is very important I found after testing
That you order the garrett earphone
Extension to get the sender unit as far
From your control box as possible
Because of interference
It also allows you to mount the sender
Unit on the rear fin with velcrow
Nice and neat!
Don't buy the headphones with a radio
In them, they won't work properly with
The sender
Look forward to seeing how
You guys go
EM :)

Thx Eurekaman. This is exactly what I was looking for.

Any update Ramjet, im keen to see how it turns out?

Erg

No probs ERG, hope it comes together for you
The none phone and radio headphones
Are the best to get for this job
Don't know how yours are going to go
Ramjet as some other blokes I know
Got the inbuilt radio type and they were
Useless
Fingers crossed fella
EM :D

Erg

I have only had a quick look at mine. Seems to be a bit of lag. Been on night shift but have a few days off now so I hope to do some testing with it.

Hi Ramjet
I have had 5 people test theirs
On another forum and no lag at all
Neither had mine you might have to
Tune it or replace the headphones
Regards

Hi people. Sorry it has taken me so long to get around to updating this. There is a definite lag with the setup I have tested. Maybe with better quality equipment it may be eliminated. My headset also has an FM radio so I tried an FM transmitter but it would not cut out the At Pro's built in speaker. Here is a very short video. The first part is with no head set, the second part is with the bluetooth. Sorry about the volume in the bluetooth part. It should be good enough to see the lag though. The bit without the headset is only 5 seconds.

Yes no doubt a lag there, but you can't use
Headphones with radio built in as I posted before
