Spent about $6.00 at overflow on some plastic funnels, strainers and a stainless steel strainer.

I heated up the spout of the large funnel and forced a 1oz vial through. Stopped just before the cap come through. Nice thight fit..

I cut the plastic mesh out of one of sieves and removed the s/s mesh from the handle it came on.
I used a pan on the stove to fuse the mesh to the sieve. I did this by placing a piece of baking paper on the pan, laying the mesh on it then holding the sieve in place. After about a minute on hi heat, the mesh was fused in place, I then trimmed of the excess. This left me with a small classifier with about a 100 mesh. (Holes are about 0.3mm )
I drilled a 16mm hole in the offcut wood for a base to hold the vial.. only problem is that the mesh is a bit springy and will "pop" so just have to hold the mesh down..
Seems to work. Filtered some fines trough it. Saw a few specs of gold, I will put up a pic when i can

Cheers Tone
