Tried to respond to this one in Closed Trades, but obviously you can't. Anyway.
Just wanted to say to all those interested in gold history (who isn't), that this is a fabulous book. First printed in 1970, my edition is 1977. Must be popular as they must have released it again in 2004 as in xcvator's post. Having lived in the high country in my misspent youth, the book is quite nostalgic in many ways.
So any one getting a chance to read it, go for it, you won't be disappointed.
