VMS or HEMA

Afternoon all, I'm in the market for a mapping systems and have narrowed it down to these two, has anyone used any of these systems before, any help would be appreciated.

I've got hema on my iPad ..$29 works great ,works with historical gold map overlays..and google earth ..if your phone or iPad has a built in gps your position is always there..can also put in event marks on your map..mark the spots where you find gold or points of interest..wouldn't be without it..
