How many of us are looking for the wash or drift layer?

We drive for the day and can be totally ignoring the drift layer and then wonder why it is a hobby not an income.

Just focusing on locating the drift layer is critical. After about 8 trips to the same place I have found it and get it at Yambulla. (You can dig there all day and miss it).

These old-timers were total professionals.
 
It's a good thing I love shovelling so much, would have been nice to be in the right spot, I have been basicly seiving through flood wash wich gg is definatley good for. 6ct black star is the best i have found, maybe I dig little deeper and bring a pan, with this new found knowledge
 
the old timers new much more back then than we do now with all our you beut technology
