The edges are not worn and it has been in the ground over 100 years,
I have not id it as yet, any thoughts.

Hmmm..can you see the faceted rocks when you flip it over the other side? Similar to ones my mate found

Hi Atom, the stones are on cups, It is encased, but it sure does sparkle in the light.
And at last I can say I found the town fair ground from 1880 s thru to 1920,
and I have found a lot more brooches, and old bottles unbroken, and badges.

Mabey go back to the hole and sift the dirt to find those missing rocks from it too mate?
Its a great find, will you clean it more or is she too brittle to go further captn'?

I think one day I will sift some dirt as one area where I found some
brooches and with some stones missing, there still in the ground but
one day that dirt will be in my shed.
