In the UK there is a fantastic new comedy series called the "The Detectorists". Its a 6 part comedy series about two friends who go in search of their hearts' desire with a couple of metal detectors.

I have seen the full show and liked it also. It was fun and showed the treasure side in a fun light.

Even for a very new "Detectorists" that I am, I could pick them up on some serious technique flaws.

As good as the reality shows are; Gold Rush, Bearing Sea, etc. this was a good fun look at the hobby.

I look forward to the next series.
