Thanks Guys

You had to see the look on my face to believe it
I was only thinking i am yet to get any gold stuck in the seive
let alone throwing it out with the bigger gravel
I have had a lot of gold from this particular creek over the last year but nothing like that
Who says yabby pumps wont hold big gold

Went Back to the creek today for another attack & got some nice gold including a nice nugget

The creek has been smashed for 150 years but there is good gold if you are prepared to think & work
The secret seems to be to look in places that no one would think to look
On top of bedrock & areas where wash has been coming into the creek from the bank
The obvious deep crevices are all worked & virtually void of good gold
I would have loved have been prospecting this creek 150 years ago the amount of gold must have been incredible

Its all just hard work now but i still love the challenge

Woah...nice gold there mate!
Yeah I agree with what your saying about the crevices being worked over...it is often better to work areas most people would think of as not good for gold...I also try to remember how the effects of weathering can change deposition of gold.
