Snake repeller

Hi All,
I have just become aware of these little beauties. If they work they'd be great around the dig area in summer.

Has anyone used any of these, I'd be interested in any comments.

Don't waste your money on this rubbish. A property owner I know bought three of these things as he had a few snakes around his yard. I was up shooting on his property and he called me over to have a look at something. It was a brown snake curled up asleep next to one of those things the sun. I caught the snake and relocated it to another area. I checked the device and it was still humming away!!! Absolute Rubbish!

A mate is terrified of Joe Blakes so I went to Homeart and bought a few solar butterflies to go around the campsite they are the sort that flutter on a bit of wire the theory is the snakes feel the vibration & scarper - Don't know whether it works - we haven't seen any snakes though! ..... Winter?

I will admit that I bought my son two of those (snake repellers) not happy they dont work grrrrrr but thanks for pointing it out everyone.....Cheers Debra
