Just inquiring if anyone has found anything else at oallan ford other than gold? Are there any gem stones found there?

There are small Diamond deposits nearby and the odd Sapphire I've heard but very very few of them. Best off heading down to Grabben Gullen Creek for gems.

Thanks for that. I was just wondering as I brought home a few buckets yesterday that I had clasified down to 1/2 inch. Wasn't too sure whether or not to check for gems as well as gold.

I have never really thought to check for gems out there... maybe i will have to start looking just in case...

I have seen diamonds come out of Oallen.
Rather small but they are there.
Topaz, Zircon just to name a few.
