So out of interest Bonacinci, and if you don't mind me asking? What hobby are you and your wife going to pursue? I'm in the same boat as my wife was keen but she's only been out twice detecting with me since March. Sorry to jack your thread momentarily mate and good luck with the sale and finding a new hobby.

Hahaha that's ok, we like camping and caravan trips, and we both want to keep fit, so I am looking into hiking or mountain biking, she loves the idea of mountain biking, but I am an enduro motorbike rider so I'm not sure if her idea of mountain biking is the same as mine lol.

Well i can thoroughly recommend hiking, my wife used to like that as well when we lived up the Snowies. Don't know where you live but my wife and i like kayaking, and it can be sedate or full on white water. It keeps ya fit, gets you near water and you can camp in some great isolated wilderness areas as well.
