maths lesson 1.01 : Algebra, for all those that hate it.
as Im working from home, means my maths brain is still turned on
If you can follow my maths below, it shows how to come at 143547
ignore the '+' signs, it essentially just means use all 3 numbers
so,
1st number assign A (5)
2nd number assign B (3)
3rd number assign C (2)
then;
then in each answer,
D = the first pair of numbers = A x B (ie first line, 5x3) = 15
E = second pair of numbers = A x C (5 x 2) = 10
third pair of numbers = adding the 1st & 2nd pair of numbers D+E then subtract B
so (15 + 10)-2 = 25-3 = 23
so then our mystery number is (7x2)=14, (7x5)=35, & (14+35-2)=47

NUMBER 1,, If the trainers are worth 10 each =30

NUMBER 2,, boy + boy plus the trainers = 20 so trainers=10, 2 boys are worth 5 each =10,,,, 10 + 10 = 20

NUMBER 3,, One boy = 5 so those other 2 things =8 so they are worth 4 each.

NUMBER 4,, One trainer =10 + One Boy 5 = 15, Times it by the Brown thing = 4 So that's 15 X 4 = 60.

Ooooops No it's not it is 20,

Because if a pair of trainers is worth 10, One trainer is worth 5 Plus the Boy =5,, 5+5 = 10 multiplied by the brown thing which is 2,, So that's 10 X 2 = 20,
