That's a fabulous find, for sure. These seem to come up reasonably regularly. Recent ones I have heard of include a whole lot of gold wire jewellery and a viking sword.

Much slimmer pickings for detectorists here, but at least there is the possibility of a Holey Dollar of an Adelaide Pound.

About 15 in a semi circle Carlton Dry don't know why cant take the home
Digging up about 3 at a time clean them up from the wet sand
Along with a few coins / sinkers good morning to be out

I am pleased for the Finder, but this is what bugs me about the Treasure system over here, He found that last December and 11 months later they still don't know the value and he has not been paid for them,.

Its amazing history I wish we had here !! There has been lots of hoards found in recent times.
