Hi guys im loving panning for gold and using a detector , im on my way to hanging rock
Tomorrow ,ive just been around australia doing very little due to the heat ,its been so damn hot
Currently at ellenborough reserve ,met a nice bloke here today hes letting us follow him
Tomorrow to sheeba dam,so heres hoping to a find hopefully.

Thanks guys im looking forward to loading some photos one of these days ! Its pretty tough out there in the heat
Been down to sofala the river is dry, but we found a small patch between sofala and hill end with water and camped there
For about four days ,the temperature was outrageous ,and yet tomorrow round ellenborough reserve is going to be in the high
Thirties again! Moving on tomorrow to hangin rock and see how we go cheers guys

Good to have you aboard Brooksy. Hanging Rock mmm I have seen that movie 5 or 6 times I recon. The house/small castle in that was movie was filmed at Martindale Hall in Mintaro S.A. built by my Great great grandfather.

If you want me to show you some good spots let me know, I live very close and are up there most days, the Peel river is not running and has not been for weeks but can still get gold if you know where to look ....Be warned it's hot here to but then Sheba is good for a dip...

Goodness me i was just going through emails and totaly forgot i had joined this site
I have now settled into a lil town called burnett heads in qld ,plus a new team of detectors
Have not long started in bundaberg, some fabulous people too. Still no gold and hoping to
Get back to sheba dam next year ,it was my fav spot to detect
