Gday, from Darwin. New to this prospecting thing, but so far seems like fun.
Had a dig around the Pine Creek area the other day. Dont really know what Im doing, so took 40lt of water with me, and a fish tub, and panned in that.
Got a sore back, but found a little bit of really fine yellow stuff. After that, couldnt stop panning, went untill dark. Was digging what looked like an old dig site, around tree roots. Didnt find enough to be of any value, but enough to get interested.....enough to consider getting a detector, or hireing one, lol!
Any way, look forward to learning a heap !
