Field Trip

Hi everyone,

I have lately been detecting for gold but now I have a pan set I wouldn't mind getting into Gem and Mineral fossicking. I have also been fortunate to be taught by a resident at the aged care home I work at how to operate a faceting machine and how to facet gems. Are there any clubs having a field trip tomorrow (Sunday) that I might be able to attend to learn a bit about fossicking for gems and minerals?

Thanks for the tip Maccka I should have realised this and a bit late now. I am thinking of going solo to Daylesford or Dolly's Creek in Morrisons as I live in Geelong.
