I was out detecting around Ballarat area when I located this about 10 inches in clayey ground. It is made from light gauge copper and is about 28mm long and about 8mm in diameter with detailed patterning. Does anyone know what it is?

I thought it was a lid from a bottle of bubbly at first, but honestly I have no idea. I have almost a bucket full of unknown items lol. It gets annoying after a while not being able to identify your finds.

Or a ciggie holder if the end is hollow,...they would have thought themselves a bit of alright durrying up with something like that(if that's what it is).

Its hollow and roughly the same diameter as a modern day durry! I thought it may have been a durry holder as well but Its a total guess!
