Anyone know of any creeks good enough to take Ma daughter for a lil dip in.? Was thinking the Loddon at Newstead under the bridge might be a goer.. anyone tried there, know if the waters suitable or of any where better.?

Yep ..... There is a fantastic Council swimming pool made in the Loddon river at Bridgwater.
Heading North turn right just before the bridge, between the bakery and pub.
There is a toilet and shelter as well.
Enjoy

Is there water that far west in joyces ? Crossing it the other day near newstead she was bone dry :/ .. Might be worth a look c but, thats not to far. Cheers :)

Cairn Curran and Eppalock both have a blue/green algae warning atm, no swimming etc.

When the temps get up later in the day we most always go to The Old Lead Reservoir for a dip, just 1.5 km out of Dunolly.
One of the best camping [free] spots in the GT, but no facilities.
