Being a mainly relic coin hunter mine lean toward that.
First detector l had in the 80's was a White's 6000D and a 5000 which l don't own now.
Will post a photo of my current detectors later on.

Dave.... I thought this was gunna be you offering to take any old unwanted detectors etc, so's to open a detecting museum.

Imagine that... detectors.... additional tools.... amazing finds..... collections of finds..... photos of digs.... and a sales shop where you sell other finds for commission to help support the very community that supports you.

I know.... I'm just a dreamer lol.... and anyway.... you'd need to buy an old bank with big safes to do it in..... :p

Being a coin and relic hunter. Heres mine. Also have a go find 66 for my 10 year old boy whos upgraded to the V540

Love them Oldies MxM, I have an old Garrett that looks like new that needs some love still in it's original bag, There's a short in it somewhere, It just needs someone who knows about electronics to fix it,

My old 5900Di has never been used and it has a few tricks up it's sleeve that the new ones haven't got,
