Clueless needing license help

Hi All,
looking at starting my first fossick in October and need to know how to get a WA license easier than the confusing government sites, is there an email I can just book and pay online or do you have to register and where do you go ?

Gotta be done in person by the looks of it. Department of Mines in Perth or any Mining Registrars office.
