Was out on the weekend and detecting a pushed area that had been worked over many times. Managed to get through some bushes to an area with no holes, went over a patch and the SDC started humming.
An hour later and a foot down and the machine is screaming. Thats where I hit a layer as hard as concrete. Bent my old pick and just couldnt get through it. Is there any way gold could be beneath that layer of rock, or is there more likely an old screw off a grader/digger down there?
