Found on fb page, Victorian gold.

Value wise it's definitely a mortgage breaker if found with a detector at surface.

That is the total weight with the quartz in it. How much weight would you reckon is ion the actual gold itself ?

Too hard to say would have to be assayed to know its true gold content. As a collectors piece it could be worth more than above bullion value as is.

"I did not find it, I bought it from prospector, was deep, 7000 with 19 inch coil."

you would be a fool to sell it to a "gold dealer" even if he paid 20 % more than bullion value.

If export permission was sought and and it was listed on Sotheby's it could have sold for 1.2 - 1.5 million +
