Best (Gold) VLF Money Can Buy Today?

whats the best VLF money can buy these days please, ideally something that 3rd party coil manufactures cover so I have a good choice of coils I could use?

There's no clear "best" in that specialised field and I don't think any third-party coil manufacturers exist for current machines. The Minelab Gold Monster is probably the most commonly used gold VLF in Australia, with wide distribution and competitive pricing.

minelab, fisher, whites, Nokta, Anything by any of these companies will do the job.
Minelab Gold Monster, Equinox 800, Fisher Gold Bug 2, Whites 24k or GMT if you can find one, Nokta Gold Kruzer. Gold Racer, Au Gold Finder... all good options.

Personally my go to VLF has always been the Fisher gold bug 2.

VLF detectors have limitations; ie they're all the same.
PI detectors have limitations; ie they're all the same.
ZVT7000 will have competitors but they will be the same.
