Lol Don't expect Gold in your Wash.. Most Gold in New England region is Deep.. There are a couple of places where you can pan a bit but doubt any will be in your wash......
Those Tourist bags are full of Crap.... Anything from nicely polished Tigers-eye, Amethyst, Pyrite, Lapis..... They are full of anything from around the world.... Lucky you were given them.... Yes I have found some Sapphire in them, but seriously wast of money...

Better buying some wash from Billabong Blue, at least THEY are honest.... That tiny chip looks like Rose Quartz to me... Lol...

Lol LW I wouldn't care if it was shards of coloured glass, I've had fun discovering them and learnt/ refined techniques which will make sourcing and processing my own pay dirt even more rewarding.
I'll look into Billabong Blue for sure. Still got another bag to go through yet
